The iPad Air 2 had recently been supplanted by the iPad Pro as the top dog in Apple’s tablet lineup, and since it’s not too common for newer Apple devices to be included in discount deals, it’s no surprise that Best Buy is offering some tasty discounts on the previous-generation flagship slate. All iPad Air 2 models, regardless of color, connectivity (Wi-Fi only or cellular), or storage (16/64/128GB) are selling for $100 to $125 off; most of these tablets are $100 off ahead of Black Friday, while the 128GB iPad Air 2 is specifically selling for $125 less.
For a brief recap of Best Buy’s Black Friday pricing on the iPad Air 2, the 16GB Wi-Fi version is available for $399.99 (reg. price $499.99), while the most expensive version, the 128GB edition with cellular support, is selling for $704.99 (reg. price $829.99).
Moving on to another hot tech product, you can get a $250 gift card should you buy or lease the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, or S6 Edge+ and activate the phone with Sprint Lease or a monthly AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon monthly installment plan. Alternately, you can sign up to a two-year Sprint or Verizon contract and pay as low as $1 upfront for the Galaxy S6 or S6 Active, as low as $49.99 for the Galaxy S6 Edge, or $149.99 for the Galaxy S6 Edge+.
All in all, Best Buy has announced eight tech deals for Black Friday 2015, and these also include a Toshiba 55-inch LED HDTV ($349.99, reg. price $549.99), an off-branded Insignia 40-inch LED HDTV ($159.99, reg. price $279.99), an Insignia 2.1-channel soundbar ($99.99, reg. price $199.99), select MacBooks ($150 off), a 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K Display ($1,649.99, reg. price $1,799.99), and the Netgear Arlo Smart Home HD security cameras ($399.99, reg. price $499.99). More deals should be announced in the run-up to Black Friday 2015, which falls on November 28.
