Another 32 GB Nexus 7 Sighting – Office Depot Selling Tablet for $250?
Google’s rumored newest version of the Nexus 7 tablet, the one with 32 GB internal storage, has not yet been confirmed by the search engine giant, but it has nonetheless been spotted numerous times, starting with the report from weeks back coming from a Japanese customer.
The customer, in case you don’t remember, ordered a 16 GB Nexus 7 only to be given one that had 32 GB storage instead. With all the evidence of the 32 GB Nexus 7 mounting, there have been rumors that the popular 8 GB Nexus 7 would be phased out soon, and the tablet is indeed listed on the Play Store as “coming soon” instead of being in stock.
So what’s the latest news on the 32 GB version?
The most recent Nexus 7 32 GB report comes from Phone Arena, which found a screenshot from American retailer Office Depot, where the 32 GB Nexus 7 is being sold for $249.99, same price as the model with 16 GB storage.
This comes right after the 32 GB version was spotted on Staples’ website selling for $248.37. Also, UK retailer Argos had this tablet listed at £199 on its holiday shopping guide – that would be $320 in US currency, although that also happens to be the UK price of the 16 GB edition.
There may be even more sightings of the 32 GB Nexus 7 ahead of Google’s October 29 event in New York City. Since that’s just one day away from now, we won’t have to wait a while before Google answers what seems to be a very obvious question – will there be a 32 GB Nexus 7 or not?
